Quer levar o seu animal de estimação consigo quando viajar?
Para saber se o seu animal de estimação pode viajar consigo na cabine ou no porão, por favor contacte a Central de Reservas da Air France quando reservar o seu voo.

Animals accepted:

only cats and dogs under 6 kg (container included),
guide dogs, regardless of their weight.

Transportation rules:

the animal must travel in a specific container that must respect very specific standards,
the container must be sufficiently ventilated and allow the animal to stand up and turn around,
in no event must the animal leave its container during the flight.
the carrier is considered as a baggage item

Practical information:

in order that the animal travel peacefully, we recommend that passengers administer, after consultation with a vet, a product to prevent the animal suffering from air sickness or any negative reaction during the flight,
in order to avoid any unpleasant surprises, remember to find out about the regulations in force in your departure and arrival countries (vaccinations, quarantine, etc.).

  The Washington Convention

  Implemented in 1973, it restricts or forbids international trade in of animal and plant species that are threatened with extinction. It is now in force in 175 countries, including France.
For example, the Convention forbids international commerce of some animal species (gorillas, elephants, deep sea turtles) and carefully controls regulates trade in of others (chimpanzees, parakeets, boa constrictors).
For those animals that can be transported, you must obtain a CITES (Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species) permit.
